I found my BCC in the back of a boat yard south of Annapolis in terrible shape. I brought it home and built a bow shed around her and rebuilt her in 3 years, (new deck, rudder, hatches, bulwarks, interior and engine). I launched it in 2016 just on time for my retirement, and I have been enjoying it ever since, ranging from Maine to Florida. BTW I found the original papers in the boat including a letter signed by Lyle Hess to the original owner.
